Use this QuickForm "Software Development Agreement" for a project to develop custom software. This could involve developing software from scratch, or customizing existing software for a specific Customer.The Agreement can favor either party. It can handle project staffing, change control, pricing methods (including Service Level Credits for project delays) and royalties for distributed software.The Agreement will specify ownership or licensing of the custom software, user training, documentation, warranty and support, liability, dispute resolution and other issues. Consider using this Agreement with the QuickForms "Statement of Work" for software development projects (a separate QuickForm category).Note: If your project involves configuration of an off-the-shelf product (rather than custom development), consider using the Professional Services Agreement with the Statement of Work (SOW), instead.
