Use this QuickForm Amendment of an Existing
Agreement to modify or amend an existing agreement by mutual consent of the
parties.
This QuickForm can amend any QuickForm Contract
(and most other agreements). It can handle a wide range of possible amendments.
It
provides needed structure to the amendment process, removes much of the mystery
(if you haven't amended many agreements before) and helps keep you from missing
important issues.
Note: before using, have your Original
Agreement in front of you, along with any prior amendments to that Original
Agreement. You should also know which provisions of the Original Agreement you
want to amend (by Section number and title, if any).
You don't need to know the exact wording
of any new or modified clauses at this time. QuickForms will structure the
amendment for you (based on your answers). The resulting document will
include pointers showing you exactly where to insert the new or modified clauses
after you receive the document.
