Attorney Debt Collection Letters are subject to the following Special Terms & Conditions, in addition to the Terms of Use.

These Special Terms are designed to limit the time and scope of legal services to what is needed to accomplish the specific task of preparing and sending out Collection Letters. By using the QuickForms automation to gather your requirements and limiting the scope of legal work, we can offer you a low, fixed price for this service:

Commissioning a Collection Letter involves a "limited purpose, limited time" engagement. It begins only after your pre-paid Order is cleared for any legal conflicts. If not cleared, we will reverse (refund) your fee, which is our sole and exclusive obligation.

This limited engagement ends after the review, preparation and mailing of the Collection Letters, based on information you provided. We do not independently verify account information and assume it is accurate and complete. If we notice obvious discrepancies, we may (but are not required to) await clarification before proceeding or may decline to send it and refund your fee. We do not review statutory limitations periods, which tend to vary.

Collection Letters are sent by an attorney licensed in the personal jurisdiction from which the letters are prepared and mailed. We cannot guarantee results. You are not required to purchase any follow-up legal services. Any follow-up services require a conflicts check and a mutually acceptable signed Engagement Letter between you and the attorney. QuickForms is not part of that relationship.

If you are not able to resolve this debt, and it results in a legal dispute, then you may need to hire other local counsel at your expense to handle that matter. QuickForms does not give legal advice and operates "as is and as available" under the QuickForms Terms of Use, incorporated by reference (Back to Collection Letter description).

Orders are processed in due course, but time is not of the essence. Technical glitches with QuickForms could affect availability of Collection Letters. All services are performed solely in Fairfax County, Virginia (USA), and you agree to arbitrate any dispute you may have with us in such locale.

Sending a Collection Letter is not always appropriate. Consult your local attorney if the Debtor is in bankruptcy or the statutory deadline for legal action will soon expire. Be careful if the Debtor has a counter-claim against you. Sometimes, an Attorney Letter can escalate tensions. If legal action occurred, you may need to hire local counsel at your expense.

Please do not send Collection Letters to a Consumer Debtor's place of work or to harass anyone needlessly. There may be other reasons not to send a Letter, so we must rely on your understanding of the situation.

You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years old and of legal capacity, information you supplied is believed in good faith to be accurate, your claim is not made to harass, and you will indemnify us against any claim to the contrary.

If your case is referred to another attorney for court action, you will enter into a new fee arrangement with that attorney. Our forwarding attorney may charge the receiving attorney a small referral fee for providing case information and an assessment of the situation, but that fee is usually taken out of the receiving attorney's fee.
